2017 Cantina Valle Isarco Kerner Alto Adige

SKU #1382569 91 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate

The 2017 Alto Adige Valle Isarco Kerner Aristos (vinified only in stainless steel) opens to a dry and dusty personality with an emphasis on salty mineral notes. This is a super refreshing and zesty wine that drinks smoothly and beautifully despite that mineral definition. Crisp grapefruit, lime and balanced almond flavors give substance and volume. This warm vintage shows extra density and intensity. Brimstone and talc powder make for elegant endnotes. (ML) (8/2018)
