2004 Vega Sicilia "Único" Ribera del Duero 3-Pack in OWC (Pre-Arrival)

98 points Wine Enthusiast: "Lightly baked and hinting at raisin and fine herbs, the bouquet on this benchmark Spanish red enfolds aromas of tobacco, moss and ripe tomato. In the mouth, it’s elegant and silky but also full and expansive. Flavors of baked berry fruits, baking spices, herbs and cocoa finish with a light coating of toast. This is an amazingly complete, exemplary wine that’s just entering its prime. If past vintages of Unico are an indication, it will age well through 2035. *Editors' Choice* (MS)" (05/2015) 97 points Robert Parker's Wine Ad ...

2006 Finca Villacreces

94 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The purple-colored 2006 Tinto is made up of 86% Tempranillo and the balance Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot aged for 16 months in French oak. The nose displays a brooding aromatic array of Asian spices, damp earth, mineral, blackberry, and violets. Dense and stacked on the palate, the wine is still a bit tightly wound and will benefit from 4-6 years of additional cellaring. Incipiently complex and exceptionally lengthy, it should be at its best from 2025 to 2031. " (04/2010) 90 points Stephen Tanzer's Internation ...
