Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2012 Penfolds "Bin 389" Cabernet-Shiraz South Australia (97JH, 91RP, 91WS). James Halliday: "Deep, dense crimson-purple; the profound bouquet offers every kind of black fruits imaginable, large and small, yet somehow leaves a space and air in the mix for more complex secondary characters to emerge given time - lots of it. The palate takes all this, and adds to it with barrel ferment characters introducing licorice and touches of wild herb. This wine fully lives up to the great expectations held of it (and the vintage). Arguably the bargain of the release."
Starting Bid: $200.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2001 d'Arenberg "The Dead Arm" Shiraz McLaren Vale South Australia (98RP, 93JH). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Readers should be on the look out for the 2001 The Dead Arm Shiraz, one of the greatest examples of this cuvée. Its dense, black/purple color is accompanied by celestial aromas of melted licorice, graphite, blackberries, cassis, incense, anise, and toasty oak. Fabulously concentrated, with great purity, an unctuous, viscous texture, and an amazingly long, 60-second plus finish, this fabulous baby will need 5-6 years of cellaring, and should drink well over the following 20-25 years. Drink 2003-2033.(RP)" (08/2003)
Starting Bid: $260.00

Bid on this 5-bottle lot of 2013 St. Hallett "Old Block" Shiraz Barossa Valley South Australia (97JH, 96JS). James Halliday: "A picture of good health, balance, flavour and length. It bristles with freshness, with power, with authority. The fruit - blueberry and blackberry, splashed with earth and ground coffee - is soft, but the tannin is ropey and firm, like arms around a bountiful harvest. A very long life is in store." (08/2016)
Starting Bid: $150.00
