Bid on this bottle of 2012 Peter Michael "Point Rouge" Knights Valley Chardonnay (100RP, 97WS, 95ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Remarkably, both vintages of Peter Michael’s top Chardonnay selection, the Point Rouge, may merit perfect scores. A selection of the best barrels, it is meant to age for 30 or more years. It represents the crème de la crème essence of what this estate is about. Helen Turley first coined the term by putting red dot stickers on the best barrels in the cellar, hence the name Point Rouge. This cuvée is made from Old Wente selections and some of the estate’s oldest vines, particularly the 25-year-old vines in Belle Côte. (RP)" (12/2014)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Peter Michael Knights Valley Chardonnay Horizontal, including 1-bottle of 2012 Peter Michael "Belle Côte" Knights Valley Chardonnay (99RP, 95JS, 94WS, 92VN) and 1-bottle of 2012 Peter Michael "La Carrière" Knights Valley Chardonnay (97RP, 94WS, 93JS, 93ST). Of the 2012 Peter Michael "Belle Côte" Knights Valley Chardonnay,Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "The nearly perfect 2012 Chardonnay Belle Côte boasts an amazing perfume of pineapple marmalade, tangerine oil, wet rocks and citrus blossoms. This full-bodied, stunning Chardonnay has a creamy texture as well as fabulous underlying mineral characteristics. One of the great wines of the vintage, this amazing Chardonnay can be enjoyed over the next decade or more. (RP)" (12/2014)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2012 Marcassin "Marcassin Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Chardonnay (100RP, 99JD). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2012 Chardonnay Marcassin Vineyard, which will probably be released in a few months, displays great minerality, notes of honeysuckle, orange marmalade, poached pear, and white flowers as well as a touch of quince. A wine of great intensity, yet incredibly ethereal elegance, this light greenish gold-colored wine is full-bodied, stunningly rich, and altogether remarkable. When you consider that they use 100% new French oak and 100% heavy toast for both their Chardonnays and Pinot Noirs, it is remarkable how little oak appears in these wines. This wine should age well for 10-15 years, as most of the Marcassin Estate Chardonnays have done to date. (RP)" (03/2016)
