Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2007 & 2009 Domaine Comte Senard Corton Blanc Grand Cru Tasting Lot, including 1-bottle of 2007 Domaine Comte Senard Corton Blanc Grand Cru ((88-90BH)) and 2-bottles of 2009 Domaine Comte Senard Corton Blanc Grand Cru (90BH). Of the 2007 Domaine Comte Senard Corton Blanc Grand Cru ,Allen Meadows - Burghound writes: "Here too there is a discreet hint of SO2 which will also dissipate with a bit of aeration blends into an expressive and ripe nose of citrus, herbal notes and a hint of white flower that can also be found on the big, rich and powerful flavors that are delicious but at the moment seem to lack the focus on the persistent finish that I typically find." (07/2009)
Starting Bid: $210.00

Bid on this bottle of 2009 Vincent Girardin Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru "Quintessence de Corton-Charlemagne" (95VN, (92-94BH), 93RP). Vinous: "Bright pale yellow. Sexy smoky oak and strong minerally silex on the nose, lifted by a violet high note. A densely packed wine with terrific force, offering outstanding cut to its citrus, apple, floral and mineral flavors. At once laid-back and powerful, and extremely unevolved. This really titillates the taste buds on the long, rising, lemon-and-stone finish. Wow! Girardin purchased a bit more Corton-Charlemagne in Aloxe-Corton this year but it's unlikely to find its way into this special cuvee: he wants the Quintessence bottling, which is always from the same 80-year-old vines in the heart of the hillside on the Pernand side, to remain rare.
