Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Buttered hazelnut, smoky citrus, crushed rock, and subtle toasty oak notes jump from the glass of the brilliant 2003 Chardonnay Cuvee Indigene. Bid on this bottle of 2003 Domaine Jean-Louis Chave Hermitage (100RP, 98ST, 98WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2003 Hermitage is as profound as they come. Inky in color, with incredible kirsch, blackberry liqueur, flowers, licorice and hints of underlying meatiness, it hits the palate with a full-bodied, massively concentrated profile that has nothing out of place, seamless integration of its fruit, alcohol and tannin, and an overriding elegant, perfectly balanced feel. Drink it anytime over the coming three decades. Jean Louis’ two 2003 Hermitages should be on everyone’s bucket list of wines to try at least once (preferably more) in their life. They both represent the essence of Hermitage and are as good as wine gets. (JD)" (04/2014)

This full-bodied classic boasts a dense purple color as well as a superb nose of graphite, creme de cassis, forest floor, licorice and a hint of truffles, low acidity, and extravagant richness. Most of the tannins have been resolved in this superstar of the vintage. It should continue to drink well for 10-15+ years. (RP) 95+" (08/2014)

A glorious bouquet of cedarwood, jammy black currants, cherries, licorice and truffle is followed by a dense, opulently textured, full-bodied wine with terrific purity and freshness as well as deep, velvety textured tannins. Of the 2003 Domaine Robert Chevillon Nuits-St-Georges 1er Cru "Les Saint Georges",Allen Meadows - Burghound writes: "A supremely elegant and pure ripe red pinot fruit nose combines with medium full flavors that seem as though they are the distilled essence of pinot and while this is exceptionally ripe, it seems to give away nothing in terms of either elegance or precision. This is one big wine, indeed almost massive with superb power and grand cru caliber length yet everything remains in perfect balance. A great, great effort for the vintage and one to buy. *Don't Miss! Outstanding*" (01/2005)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2003 Pavie, St-Emilion (97WS, 96RP, (90-92VN)). Wine Spectator: "This is a stunner, with the warmth of the vintage marrying ideally with the relative coolness of the terroir to deliver a wide range of vivid plum, boysenberry, raspberry and cherry paste flavors that have energy and drive, carried by a long graphite note and backed by a roasted apple wood accent that has been fully absorbed. Powerfully ripe, but not heady, with a sense of poise through the finish. A jaw-dropper. (JM, Web Only-2017)"
Starting Bid: $675.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2003 Greenock Creek "Apricot Block" Barossa Valley Shiraz South Australia (95RP). Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2003 Domaine Alain Burguet Gevery-Chambertin "Mes Favorites Vieilles Vignes" (90BH). Allen Meadows - Burghound: " *Outstanding* There is a bit more of everything here with beautifully complex and elegant earthy red fruit aromas that merge into seriously intense and sweet full-bodied flavors that offer real depth and mouth coating old vine sap and length. A terrific combination of weight and elegance with fine finishing precision. In sum, this is a superb villages." (01/2006)

Bid on this bottle of 2003 Léoville-Las-Cases, St-Julien (97JS, 96DC, 96RP, 96WS, 94WE, 93ST). James Suckling: "This is more exotic and monstrous than the 2000. It is like a muscle builder, with lots of round and rich tannins and a core of dark fruits like black cherries and blueberries. Still very young, but structured and in need of five more years. Don’t touch this until 2015." (05/2012)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2003 Señorío de P. Peciña Gran Reserva Rioja (93VN). Vinous: "Deep red. The nose displays an array of ripe berry and floral qualities, complicated by suggestions of woodsmoke, spicecake and licorice. Fleshy and broad yet lively, offering sweet raspberry and cherry-vanilla flavors that become spicier with aeration. More energetic than the vast majority of wines from this hot vintage, finishing with excellent clarity and no obvious tannins. (JR)" (09/2014)
Starting Bid: $92.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2003 Mitolo "Savitar" Shiraz McLaren Vale South Australia ((94-97RP), 95JH). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2003 Shiraz Savitar is a prodigious offering. Made from 30- to 50-year-old Shiraz vines in the Willunga district of McLaren Vale, it was aged 18 months in 100% new French barrels and small foudres. This elegant Shiraz boasts an opaque purple color along with sumptuous blueberry, blackberry, and cassis notes intermixed with touches of white flowers, licorice, camphor, and graphite. A compellingly textured, rich, super-endowed red, it combines power with finesse. (RP)" (10/2004)
Starting Bid: $99.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2003 Domaine Faiveley Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru "Les Cazetiers" (91ST). Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Medium red. High-toned, expressive aromas of red fruits, flowers, spices, earth, meat and nutty oak. Silky, spicy and pungent, with lively flavors of strawberry, cranberry and rhubarb. Very suave and light on its feet. Finishes with dusty, broad, firm-edged tannins and excellent length. Faiveley was an early picker in 2003, as he is most years, and this wine would be difficult to identify as coming from a hot year. (ST)" (03/2006)
Starting Bid: $150.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2003 Taylor Vintage Port (97WE, 96W&S, 95RP, 94WS, 93ST). Wine Enthusiast: "Inky purple in color, this youngest Taylor vintage Port boasts a floral, wonderfully open and appealing bouquet, backed by layers of rich fruit. What makes this wine extra special is the seductive texture—somewhere between creamy and syrupy—and ample length. (JC)" (02/2007)
Starting Bid: $130.00

Bid on this 7-bottle lot of 2003 Bodegas Numanthia-Termes "Numanthia" Toro (96RP, 95WS, 94WE, 92ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2003 Numanthia was fashioned from yields of one ton of fruit per acre (from a clone of Tempranillo that often has the highest polyphenols of any Tempranillo clone). This cuvee is made from 70- to 100-year-old vines planted at a 2,300 foot elevation, which no doubt accounts for the freshness in this massively rich, intense red. A vivid, intense nose of espresso roast, pain grille, sweet black cherries, and creme de cassis is followed by a full-bodied, intensely-concentrated, rich, well-delineated, moderately structured, pure red that can be drunk young or cellared for a decade. (RP)" (08/2006)
Starting Bid: $280.00

Bid on this magnum of 2003 Shafer "Hillside Select" Stags Leap District Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L) (96WE, 95RP, 93VN, 93W&S, 93WS, 92CG). Wine Enthusiast: "Solidly in the Hillside Select model, this vigorous young Cab is dramatically ripe and powerful. The flavors of red and black currants, milk chocolate, figs and smoky vanilla erupt in the mouth, making the tastebuds jump with joy. However, there is also the structure, among the greatest in California Cabs. The acidity is fine, but the tannins are stupendously rich, sweet and complex, practically a food group in themselves. Stunning and gorgeous now in its youth. *Cellar Selection*" (03/2008)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2003 Domaine Geantet-Pansiot Gevrey-Chambertin Vieilles Vignes.
Starting Bid: $103.20

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2003 Feudi di San Gregorio "Serpico" Irpinia (92RP, 91WE, 90WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2003 is a fascinating Serpico. The wine boasts impressive concentration in its dark, rich fruit. This is an incredibly primary Serpico, with little in the way of tertiary development. Ideally, it is best left alone for another few years, but readers fortunate enough to own this are in for a thrilling ride once the wine opens up a bit. Today it remains tightly coiled but full of potential. Anticipated maturity: 2013-2023. (AG) 92+ " (08/2010)
Starting Bid: $77.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2003 Cos d'Estournel, St-Estèphe (98JS, 96VN, 95WE, 94ST, 93RP, 93WS, 92DC). James Suckling: "A dense and powerful wine as always with very ripe fruit yet an underlying freshness and complexity with tobacco, dried fruit and fresh spices such as lemon grass and Thai basil. Layered and long. " (10/2015)

Bid on this bottle of 2003 Giuseppe Quintarelli Amarone della Valpolicella Classico (94RP, 94WE, 90VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2003 Amarone della Valpolicella Classico is a wine that aptly honors the legacy of its maker. The vintage was super hot, but careful cluster selection before appassimento means you never feel that extra warmth. In fact, this wine is exceptionally balanced and polished. It lasts many long minutes thanks to enduring notes of polished stone, candied berry, balsam spice and medicinal herb. They enlighten the palate like the golden streak of a comet on a midnight sky. (ML) " (10/2013)
Starting Bid: $270.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2003 Robert Foley Napa Valley Claret (96RP, 96WE, 95WS, 94ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The top wine here is the classic 2003 Claret, a gorgeously proportioned, opaque purple-colored effort boasting a big, sweet nose of smoky meats, creme de cassis, coffee, and dark plums. Dense and opulent, with superb concentration, full body, high glycerin, decent acidity, and ripe tannin, this a superb mouthful of wine … (RP)" (12/2005)
Starting Bid: $195.00

Bid on this bottle of 2003 Palmer, Margaux (94WE, 93W&S, 92WS, 91JS, 91RP). Wine Enthusiast: "With its usual high proportion of Merlot, Palmer 2003 was always going to be a generous, very ripe wine. And so it is proving, but what is so satisfying about the wine at this stage is that the great sweet fruit, which comes right out of the glass. Underneath, of course, there are tannins, so this wine could be drunk soon, and then aged for another 15 years. (RV)" (05/2006)
Starting Bid: $171.00
