Starting Bid: $180.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 1998 Château de Beaucastel Châteauneuf-du-Pape (96WE, 95WS, 93RP, 93ST). Wine Enthusiast: "A big, rich wine with huge amounts of fruit oozing out of the glass. Great concentration and intensity, with licorice flavors from the Mourvèdre, finishing with chewy tannins. A great year for this wine … " (12/2001)
Starting Bid: $340.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1998 Le Clos du Caillou "La Réserve" Châteauneuf-du-Pape (97RP, 93ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "One of the top wines in the vintage today, the 1998 Chateauneuf du Pape Reserve le Clos du Caillou tastes more like a mature Bordeaux than a Chateauneuf du Pape. Giving up lots of graphite, smoked meats, olive, tobacco and dark fruits, this beauty is full-bodied, concentrated and textured, with building tannin, yet possesses the hallmark elegance and purity of the estate. The first vintage from this cuvee and coming from 60% Grenache and 40% Mourvedre, it will continue to drink beautifully through 2023+." (08/2015)
Starting Bid: $190.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 1998 Domaine la Bouïssiere "Font de Tonin" Gigondas (91RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The saturated dark purple/plum-colored 1998 Gigondas Cuvee Prestige La Font de Tonin (70% Grenache and 30% Mourvedre) offers aromas of new oak, minerals, black cherries, and cassis in addition to surprisingly elegant yet powerfully concentrated flavors, with moderate levels of tannin and intensity. This 1998 Gigondas requires 2-3 years of cellaring, and should drink well for two decades. (RP)" (10/2000)
Starting Bid: $150.00

Bid on this 5-bottle lot of 1998 Domaine la Bouissiere Gigondas. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 1998 Gigondas (70% Grenache and 30% Syrah) exhibits a dense purple color as well as a sweet, unevolved nose of minerals and black fruits. There is good underlying acidity, finesse, sweet cassis, and plenty of density and concentration. It will be long-lived, but it requires 3-5 years of cellaring. (RP)" (10/2000)
Starting Bid: $124.05
