Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2017 Domaine Fontaine-Gagnard Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru "La Boudriotte" ((91-93VN), 92BH, 92JG, 92RP). Vinous: "(from red soil in the lieu-dit Les Fairendes; one of the three sets of vines here is 100 years old, according to Fontaine): Bright, light yellow. Vibrant perfume of lemon peel and lime blossom. Dense, supple and silky, offering excellent definition to its citrus, floral and powdered stone flavors. Spreads out and mounts slowly on the echoing, rising finish. (ST)" (09/2018)

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2010 Pierre-Yves Colin-Morey Meursault 1er Cru "Charmes" (94VN). Vinous: "The 2010 Meursault Charmes is super-impressive. It boasts tons of richness and power, yet all of those elements are buffered by the wine's structure and acidity. Simply put, everything is in the right place. There is an element of pure unbridled energy and sheer tension that gives the Charmes its explosiveness and compelling personality. This is a great showing. I can't wait to taste the Charmes in another year or two. (AG)" (08/2012)
Starting Bid: $705.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2016 Aubert "Eastside Vineyard" Russian River Valley Chardonnay (100JD, (97-100RP), 95VN, 93WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2016 Chardonnay Eastside Vineyard is scented of lemon tart, baking bread, crushed stones, clover honey and shaved almonds with hints of pure, sliced pears and Golden Delicious apples. Full-bodied, elegant, fine and restrained, the silken palate has a quiet intensity, finishing long with savory layers. (LPB)" (10/2017)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2014 Kongsgaard Napa Valley Chardonnay (96JS, 94RP, 94VN, 91WS). James Suckling: "Plethora of fruit character in this white with so much cooked apple, apricot, and pineapple character. It changes with every layer on the palate. Full yet energetic. " (03/2017)

Bid on this bottle of 2012 Marcassin "Marcassin Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Chardonnay (100RP, 99JD). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2012 Chardonnay Marcassin Vineyard, which will probably be released in a few months, displays great minerality, notes of honeysuckle, orange marmalade, poached pear, and white flowers as well as a touch of quince. A wine of great intensity, yet incredibly ethereal elegance, this light greenish gold-colored wine is full-bodied, stunningly rich, and altogether remarkable. When you consider that they use 100% new French oak and 100% heavy toast for both their Chardonnays and Pinot Noirs, it is remarkable how little oak appears in these wines. This wine should age well for 10-15 years, as most of the Marcassin Estate Chardonnays have done to date. (RP)" (03/2016)
Starting Bid: $280.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2011 Domaine-Coche Dury Puligny-Montrachet "Les Enseignères" (93RP, 91BH, 91ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2011 Puligny-Montrachet Les Enseignieres has a strict, mineral-rich bouquet that is tightly wound at the moment. It is very focused, its reticence giving way to reveal undergrowth and dewy meadow scents (indeed, this bouquet evokes something “pastoral”). The palate is well-balanced with a beautiful line of acidity. This feels very suave in the mouth, harmonious and graceful, with touches of orange zest and dandelion on the finish. Drink 2016-2031. (NM)" (04/2014)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2017 Aubert "Eastside Vineyard" Russian River Valley Chardonnay (98RP, 98VN, (96-97JS), 93WS). Vinous: "The 2017 Chardonnay Eastside Vineyard is one of the more overt wines in this range. Lemon confit, tangerine, marzipan, white flowers all develop in this overt, plush Chardonnay. This Russian River site, planted with Montrachet clone Chardonnay, yields wines of real distinction. The 2017 was breathtaking when I tasted it from tank prior to bottling. It is all that, and more, today. What a wine! (AG)" (05/2019)

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2016 Domaine Fabien Coche Saint-Aubin 1er Cru "Les Combes" . This family-run domain, based in Meursault, was created by Julien Coche in 1940 and began as just one hectare of vines. His son Alain took over from him, expanded the holdings, and earned a high reputation for the vintages he produced. Alain is the cousin of Jean-Francois Coche of Domaine Coche-Dury. In fact it was not that long ago that the two domaines shared an almost identical label. Today the domaine is run by Alain's son Fabien and the wines feature a new, modern label.
Starting Bid: $155.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2016 Domaine Bonneau du Martray Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru (95VN, (92-94BH)). Vinous: "Pale yellow-green. High-pitched aromas of citrus peel, menthol, lavender and white pepper. Extremely tight without coming across as austere, conveying striking purity to its bracing flavors of grapefruit pith, lemon and crushed stone. Adamant minerality gives this very dense wine terrific inner-mouth tension and yet there's an element of leavening sweetness here as well, not to mention compelling floral perfume throughout. This wonderfully smooth, rich yet weightless wine really dances on the palate, spreading out on the unflagging back end to saturate every square millimeter of the mouth. Cellarmaster Emmanuel Hautus compared this wine to the 2009 in its combination of richness, early appeal and potential longevity. (ST)" (09/2018)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2015 Aubert "Hudson Vineyard" Carneros Chardonnay (98RP, 96JS, 96VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2015 Chardonnay Hudson Vineyard is a toasty, nutty, baked peaches and pear tart sex bomb, with an incredible array of nuances on the nose conjuring notions of struck flint, earth, meat, baking bread and allspice. Medium to full-bodied, rich and oh-so-sensuous, it delivers incredible fruit, savory layers and a very long finish. Drink through 2028. (LPB)" (10/2017)

Of the 2012 Edge Hill "Bacigalupi Vineyard" Russian River Chardonnay,Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "The brilliant 2012 Edge Hill Chardonnay Bacagalupi exhibits lots of roasted pineapple, honeysuckle and caramelized citrus, medium to full body, terrific acidity, and a big, fleshy, streamlined and elegant mouthfeel. It is a sensational Chardonnay to drink over the next 5-6 years. (RP)" (10/2014)

Bid on this bottle of 2006 Kistler "Cuvée Cathleen" Sonoma Valley Chardonnay ((96-98RP), 95ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2006 Chardonnay Kistler Vineyard Cuvée Cathleen, from a specific block of that site, reveals flowery white currant, peach, and tropical fruit notes interwoven with undeniable minerality and impressive acidity. A full-bodied Chardonnay with excellent density, ripeness, and length, it should drink well for a decade. Another impressive group of Chardonnays from Steve Kistler, these 2006s are unmistakably Burgundian in their aromatics, textures, and flavor profiles. (RP)" (12/2008)

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2017 Gaja "Rossj Bass" Langhe. Gaja's Rossj Bass is 95% Chardonnay with 5% Sauvignon Blanc and is named for Angelo Gaja's younger daughter Rossana (Rossj). Winery notes: "The nose opens with a floral character (jasmine and daisies), followed by fresh notes of green almond, sage, thyme and green tea leaves. On the entry, the wine is luscious, with juicy notes of nectarine, pear, mango and pineapple. The bright acidity refreshes the palate, finishing with mineral and balsamic notes of flint, mint and fern."
Starting Bid: $240.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2014 Aubert "Larry Hyde and Sons Vineyard" Carneros Chardonnay (95RP, 95VN). Vinous: "The 2014 Chardonnay Larry Hyde and Sons opens with strikingly beautiful aromatics. Sensual, layered and polished, the Hyde boasts fabulous purity, nuance and class. Apricot pit, honey, candied lemon, crème brulee, wild flowers, mint and lightly buttered notes meld into the supple, radiant finish. This is a great example of Hyde. (AG)" (02/2016)
Starting Bid: $225.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2017 Domaine Fontaine-Gagnard Criots-Batard-Montrachet Grand Cru (95JG, (92-95VN), 94BH, 94DC, 94RP). Vinous: "(These old vines, some of which were planted in the 1930s, produce very small grapes and "never a big yield," according to Fontaine): Bright lemon-yellow. The nose offers a wet stone aroma along with an element of honey. Fat and dense, even glyceral, but with surprising lemony acidity neutralizing its slight impression of sweetness. Conveys an impression of substantial alcohol but not particularly honeyed in the mouth. Finishes savory and smooth, with lovely building length. A potentially superb vintage for this bottling. (ST)" (09/2018)

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2014 Jean-Marc Pillot Chassagne-Montrachet 1er "Les Vergers Clos-St. Marc" ((91-94BH), 94VN). Vinous: "Bright, light yellow. Pure tension on the nose, with aromas of blood orange and citrus zest dominating. Boasts outstanding fruit intensity and crunchiness, with a vibrant white peach flavor complicated by a suggestion of grilled pips. Utterly seamless wine but with outstanding inner-mouth lift from brisk, noble acidity (4.5 grams per liter, according to Pillot) without any herbacity. This adamantly primary, intensely juicy premier cru builds dramatically on its peacock's tail of a finish. Stunning potential here. (ST) 94+" (09/2016)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2016 Aubert "Lauren Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Chardonnay (100JD, (98-100RP), 97VN, 95WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2016 Chardonnay Lauren Estate delivers incredibly intense grapefruit essence, lemon peel and green apple notes with touches of nutmeg, fresh ginger, lightly browned toast, marzipan and smoky meat. The palate is built like a brick house with a solid line of refreshing acid framing the complex citrus and spice layers, finishing long and savory. (LPB)" (10/2017)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2013 Domaine Pierre Matrot Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru "Combettes" (92BH, 92VN). Vinous: "Pale yellow. Cool aromas of lime, menthol, minerals and fresh herbs; if the 2014 version is more Meursault in style this is distinctly Puligny. Intensely flavored and linear, with lemon, lime, spice and menthol flavors complicated and lifted by floral and mineral nuances. Classic, sappy, youthfully austere wine with a crushed-stone aftertaste. An excellent showing, but hold this. (ST) 92+?" (09/2015)
Starting Bid: $140.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2001 Far Niente Napa Valley Chardonnay. Wine Spectator: "Chablis-like in its flinty leaness, with firm citrus, earth, mineral, gravel and green apple flavors. Intense and vibrant, for those who don't want the shadow of oak in their Chardonnay. (JL)" (09/2003)
Starting Bid: $100.00

Bid on this 5-bottle lot of 2014 Sandhi "Sanford & Benedict Vineyard" Sta. Rita Hills Chardonnay (92VN, 91W&S). Vinous: "The 2014 Chardonnay Sanford & Benedict is the most supple and easygoing of these Chardonnays from Sandhi. Yellow stone fruit, flowers, mint and lightly floral honey give the S&B much of its open-knit, welcoming personality. Although not especially complex, the 2014 is delicious and should drink well for another few years. (AG)" (09/2016)

Bid on this 5-bottle lot of 2014 Domaine de la Vougeraie Vougeot 1er Cru "Le Clos Blanc de Vougeot" Blanc ((90-92RP), (89-91BH)). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2014 Vougeot 1er Cru le Clos Blanc has a clean and detailed, granite and smoke-scented bouquet that is austere at first, but finds its voice with aeration. The palate is rounded and harmonious on the entry with touches of tinned peach and nectarine, a keen line of acidity and nicely integrated oak just filling out the finish. Give it a year or two once in bottle - it will be a very fine Vougeot. (NM)" (12/2015)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2015 Kongsgaard Napa Valley Chardonnay ((96-98RP), 95DC, (93-95VN), 94WS). Full-bodied, rich, opulent and seductive, it has a gorgeous creamy texture and very long, very spicy finish. (LPB)" (10/2017)

Bid on this 5-bottle lot of 2013 Edge Hill "Bacigalupi Vineyard" Russian River Chardonnay (94VN, 92WS). Vinous: "The 2013 Chardonnay Bacigalupi Vineyard is rich, powerful and intense, with serious palate presence and fabulous overall balance. Peach, apricot pit, smoke, butter and pastry literally explode from the glass. The 2013 is a big, opulent Chardonnay, but the wine has more than enough structure to handle all the intensity. The 2013 spent 16 months in barrel. (AG)" (10/2015)
Starting Bid: $225.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2013 Kongsgaard Napa Valley Chardonnay (96RP, 95VN, 93WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2013 Chardonnay, which is already in bottle, displays nectarine, tangerine oil, crushed rock, earthy, full-bodied richness, and magnificent texture and length. This is just a stunner to drink over the next decade or so. Drink though 2025. (RP)" (12/2015)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2008 Agrapart "Avizoise" Extra Brut Blanc de Blancs Champagne (94RP, 94ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "From 50+ year old Chardonnay vines in the best part of the coteaux d'Avize, the 2008 Extra Brut Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru l'Avizoise offers an absolutely clear, fresh, discreetly aromatic and elegant bouquet of ripe apples, ultra ripe pears, dates, limes, chalk dust, iodine and some hints of licorice. Grown on calcareous argil, fermented in demi-muids (malolactic included) and bottled unfiltered in May 2009, the wine was kept on the lees for more than five years and disgorged manually with a dosage of five grams per liter. It comes along as full-bodied yet pure, very fine and persistent Champagne with good concentration; it has a firm mineral structure and an almost Burgundian character. The length is really terrific. (SR) 94+" (10/2015)
Starting Bid: $196.00

Bid on this bottle of 1996 J.F. Coche-Dury Meursault (92BH). Allen Meadows - Burghound: " I hadn't had this beauty in a very long time but time has definitely been good to it as it remains wonderfully fresh and bright even though the nose is fully mature and I particularly admire the first-rate complexity that can also be found on the crisp, intense, stony and lemon-tinged finale. This is still going strong and even at 21 years of age, and particularly so for a villages level wine. In a word, excellent." (03/2017)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2014 Evening Land "Seven Springs Vineyard - La Source" Eola-Amity Hills Chardonnay (94W&S, 92WS, 91RP, 90JG). Wine & Spirits: "Lean and taut when first poured, this Chardonnay seems held in suspension by a gunflint, sulfite character. With air, the reduction recedes, revealing a tart, lemony white with savory flavors that are assertive but not weighty, mouthfilling but not heavy. Instead, the wine feels focused and kinetic, more about energy and movement than any particular flavor." (04/2017)

Of the 2004 Peter Michael "La Carrière" Knight's Valley Chardonnay,Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "The exquisite 2004 Chardonnay La Carriere has gained in stature since I tasted it last year. Vinous: "(aged in two-year-old foudres and a single new barrel, which Ente referred to as "insignificant"): Complex scents of lemon, orange oil, nutmeg and mace, plus a hint of leesy hazelnut; a real essence of fresh village Meursault. Wonderfully suave and alive on the palate, with peach and orange flavors given a piercing quality by an element of dusty stone. Finishes bracing and long, with lovely salinity. (Ente's 2014 Bourgogne Chardonnay, while not as squeaky-clean as the 2015 version, delivers a tactile texture and lovely energy and lift to its flavors of lemon, lime and toasted-bread leesiness. It's an exceptional Bourgogne Blanc.) (ST)" (09/2016)
Starting Bid: $826.00

Bid on this bottle of 1999 Domaine Bachelet Ramonet Batard Montrachet Grand Cru (91BH). Allen Meadows - Burghound: "(from vines on the Puligny side). Big, explosive nose of melon, white flowers, melted butter and pain grillé with powerful, thick, broad shouldered flavors that are quite rich but lack the cut and definition of the Bienvenues. Though this is relatively forward for a young Bâtard, there is good persistence and sneaky finishing acidity and thus it should drink well for at least a decade." (09/2005)
Starting Bid: $215.00

Bid on this bottle of 2015 Domaine Arnaud Ente Meursault "Clos de Ambres" (92JG, (89-92VN), (88-91BH)). Vinous: "(from vines planted in the early 1950s): Bright, pale yellow. Ripe, fruity aromas of yellow peach, orange juice and lemon. Sweet and opulent but with good inner-mouth tension; a seductive fruit bomb of a Meursault with a seamless texture. Round, broad and mouthfilling without heaviness, and considerably riper and larger-scaled than the basic village offering." (09/2016)

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2009 Chardonnay La Carriere emerges from the glass with layers of mineral-infused fruit. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Planted in 2008 to Montrachet clone, the 2017 Chardonnay CIX Estate is so delightfully savory, you could make a whole meal of it! It opens with bags of praline, pain grille, allspice and dill seed notions over a core of baked apples, pear tart, aniseed and lime leaves plus a touch of sea spray. Full-bodied, the palate has fantastic texture with a little chewy grip countering the slight oiliness and supporting the savory layers beautifully, finishing long and refreshing.
