Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2002 De Venoge "Cordon Bleu" Brut Champagne (93WS). Wine Spectator: "A core of mineral-accented smoke, spice and honey notes is wrapped with flavors of glazed apricot, lemon preserves and candied ginger in this vibrant and well-balanced version. Creamy, with a lasting finish. (AN)" (11/2013)
Starting Bid: $240.00

Bid on this bottle of 1996 Krug Brut Champagne (100W&S, 99ST, 99WS, 98VN, 97JG, 97RP, 96DC). Wine & Spirits: "It's hard to imagine how a wine of this power can sustain perfect balance. What is now a more nonchalant intensity in the aroma was, in fact, too much to handle when we tasted this last year, as if the wine had no time for mere humans with their limited sense receptors. If you stop to taste ripe pear, ginger spice, apple blossom and butterscotch the wine leaves you lost in random flavor descriptors as it soars off into a vinous glow that lasts for minutes. This may well be the greatest vintage wine of Henri Krug's career (unless it is challenged by the 2002). It is impossible to predict how long this wine will thrive in bottle, though considering the current fine condition of the 1959 Krug, the first 50 years are a given." (12/2008)

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2008 Moët & Chandon "Grand Vintage" Brut Rosé Champagne (94VN, 93JS, 93WE, 93WS, 92JG, 92RP). Vinous: "Moët's 2008 Grand Vintage Rosé is fabulous. Light on its feet and gracious, the 2008 impresses with exceptional balance and crystalline purity. There is a translucence to the 2008 that is impossible to miss. Sweet rose petal, autumn leaves, tobacco, mint and licorice are woven together in an intricate fabric of aromas and textures. Wiry and sculpted in the style of the year, the 2008 Grand Vintage Rosé is fabulous. Light on its feet and gracious, the 2008 impresses with exceptional balance and is probably the single most impressive young Champagne I have tasted from Moët in some time. The 2008 is 46% Pinot Noir (of which 20% red wine), 32% Chardonnay, 225 Pinot Meunier. Dosage is 5 grams per liter. 94+ (AG)" (08/2016)

Bid on this bottle of 1988 Perrier Jouët "Fleur de Champagne Belle Epoque" Brut Champagne (92RP, 91WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "No tasting note given. (RP)" (12/1994)
Starting Bid: $180.00

Bid on this bottle of 2002 Perrier-Jouët "Fleur de Champagne Belle Epoque" Brut Blanc de Blancs Champagne (92VN, 91RP). Vinous: "Pale gold. Ripe citrus and orchard fruit aromas are lifted by chalky minerals and white flowers. On the palate, pliant orange and pear flavors are underscored by a gingery nuance and a hint of bitter lemon zest. Fleshes out on the sappy finish, which hangs on with strong smoky persistence. Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2005 Pascal Doquet "Vertus" Coeur de Terroir 1er Cru Champagne. From the importer: 'With holdings of old vines in some of the greatest terroirs in the Côte des Blancs, Pascal Doquet has emerged over the last decade as one of the premier vignerons in Champagne. After he took over his family estate, Doquet-Jeanmaire, in 1995 when his father retired, Pascal established his eponymous Domaine in 2004. Today he farms just under 9 hectares of vines including prime parcels in Vertus, Le Mont Aimé and Le Mesnil-sur-Oger—including his illustrious old vines in the parcel “Champ d’Aoulettes.” Natural farming and dedication to vineyard health is the driving force for Pascal; in fact, he rarely discusses fermentation—his passion is in the vineyards. The Domaine has been certified organic since 2010. Pascal employs extensive cover crops and does his work with a special, ultra-light tractor as to avoid any unnecessary compacting of the soil. Plant-based treatments are emplo

Bid on this 3-magnum lot of 1995 Veuve Clicquot Ponsardin "Vintage Reserve" Brut Champagne (1.5L) (91WS). Wine Spectator: "Dense and concentrated, this bubbly delivers its flavors on a racy profile, with plenty of intensity. Picks up a ginger note toward the finish. (BS)" (10/2002)

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2008 Piper-Heidsieck Brut Champagne (94RP, 93WS, 91JS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2008 Vintage Brut offers a clear and toasty aroma on the nose. Pure, fresh, lean and delicate but complex and mineral on the palate, this is a lithe and elegant, very finessed and persistent 2008 with grip and expression. This is a complex, intense yet light and very elegant Champagne with a pure, mineral-structured and persistent finish. (SR)" (11/2017)

Bid on this bottle of 1992 Taittinger Collection "Roberto Matta" Brut Champagne. This is Taittinger's Artist Collection from the 1992 vintage, labeled in a collaboration with artist Roberto Matta. Stephen Tanzer said of the regular vintage release, in 1999: "Yeasty aromas of lemon and brioche. Generous on the palate and ready to drink, with lovely creamy ripeness. Not quite as precise or crisp as the non-vintage brut but complex and satisfying."
Starting Bid: $160.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2008 Agrapart "Avizoise" Extra Brut Blanc de Blancs Champagne (94RP, 94ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "From 50+ year old Chardonnay vines in the best part of the coteaux d'Avize, the 2008 Extra Brut Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru l'Avizoise offers an absolutely clear, fresh, discreetly aromatic and elegant bouquet of ripe apples, ultra ripe pears, dates, limes, chalk dust, iodine and some hints of licorice. Grown on calcareous argil, fermented in demi-muids (malolactic included) and bottled unfiltered in May 2009, the wine was kept on the lees for more than five years and disgorged manually with a dosage of five grams per liter. It comes along as full-bodied yet pure, very fine and persistent Champagne with good concentration; it has a firm mineral structure and an almost Burgundian character. The length is really terrific. Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2006 Charles Heidsieck Brut Rosé Champagne (94JG, 94JS, 94RP, 94WS, 93WE, 92W&S, 90VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Charles Heidsieck's 2006 Brut Rosé (with 10% Pinot Noir red wine) has been launched before the 2005. Disgorged at the end of 2014, the wine offers a delicate and intense wild strawberry flavor with some lovely spicy aromas on the nose. Ample, full and round, this is a lovely matured Rosé with a super intense and aromatic Pinot character (sweet cherries, red berries). The finish underlines the great complexity, purity and finesse of this vinous Rosé. There are cherry aromas again in the long aftertaste. An impressive rosé. (SR)" (06/2016)
