Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2009 Booker "Alchemist" Paso Robles Red Blend (94JD, 94RP, 93JS, 93WS, 92ST, 92VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2009 Alchemist comes across as powerful, tightly coiled and quite inward. Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot add considerable structure as layers of blue and black fruit saturate the palate. This is another powerful, long wine endowed with exceptional definition and a dark, brooding personality. In 2009 the blend is 65% Syrah, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Petit Verdot and 10% Grenache. The wine saw 55% new barrels. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2024. (AG)" (08/2011)
Starting Bid: $100.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2011 Descendientes de Jose Palacios "Villa de Corullón" Mencía Bierzo (93RP, 92VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2011 Corullon nearly jumps from the glass in an explosion of violets, ripe peaches and acid strawberry, the fruit darker, a touch riper, with some organic notes of humus and peat, even mushroom. You can drink it now to enjoy the exuberant, exotic profile of the wine or let it rest for three years and enjoy later. It has superb precision and length. Corullon also benefits from blending different vineyards. Drink 2016-2026. (LG)" (08/2013)
Starting Bid: $90.00
