Bid on this bottle of 2009 Ovid Napa Valley Syrah (93RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The inky, impenetrable 2009 Syrah is another huge, huge wine loaded with fruit. Hints of melted road tar, asphalt, black olives and grilled herbs literally explode from the glass. Way too young to fully appreciate, the 2009 nevertheless boasts stunning depth to match its sheer exuberance. It will be interesting to see if the 2009 finds a little more finesse in bottle, or if it remains a wine built mostly on opulence. (AG) 93+" (12/2012)
Starting Bid: $85.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2009 Delas Frères "Francois de Tournon" St-Joseph (94RP, 92VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2009 St.-Joseph Francois de Tournon is showing even better than it did last year out of barrel. An inky/purple color is followed by notes of graphite, smoke, blackberries, cassis, road tar and truffles. With layers of fruit, an unctuous texture and tremendous purity and depth, this stunning effort is a great sleeper of this fabulous northern Rhone vintage. It should drink well for 10-15 years or longer. (RP)" (12/2011)
Starting Bid: $90.00

Of the 2009 Turley "Mead Ranch" Atlas Peak Zinfandel,Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "From another cool climate, high elevation site on Atlas Peak, the dark-colored 2009 Zinfandel Mead Ranch exhibits abundant aromas of blueberries, blackberries, crushed rocks and flowers. With considerable intensity, a multidimensional mouthfeel as well as a dense, long finish, this is one of Larry Turley’s top 2009 Zinfandels. (RP)" (12/2010)
