Bid on this bottle of 1995 Chateau Montelena "Estate" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (94RP, 92VN, 92WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "At the winery, I rated the 1995 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate one point below what I gave it in the blind tasting. Nevertheless, my notes on both tastings are nearly identical. This is another winery where the 1995 may be as strong as the 1994. The color is an opaque purple. The wine is full-bodied and powerful, with classic notes of cassis intermixed with loamy soil scents, underbrush, and spice. There is massive body and elevated, but sweet tannin that is well-integrated with the wine's other components, a blockbuster mid-palate, and a finish that lasts for 30+ seconds. Anticipated maturity: 2000-2025. Modern-day society seems to always be in search of new stars, but this winery has been a super hero for great California Cabernet Sauvignon for nearly 25 years! Montelena's Estate Cabernet Sauvignons are equivalent to buying blue chip stock. They get bett

Bid on this bottle of 1983 Chateau Montelena "Estate" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (92RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Pale to medium brick colored, the 1983 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate has a subtle yet absolutely lovely nose of dried flowers, cranberry sauce, raspberry preserves and powdered cinnamon with a hint of forest floor. The medium-bodied palate fills the mouth with perfumed red fruit preserves, supported by chewy tannins and just enough freshness, finishing long and spicy. (LPB)" (02/2018)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Grassi Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (92JS, 92RP, 92VN, 92WS). Vinous: "Dark blue and purplish fruit, spices, cloves, menthol and cedar are some of the many notes that flesh out as Grassi's 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon shows off its open, engaging personality. This is a gorgeous, supple 2012 built on fruit, texture and exuberance, all of which make it an excellence choice for drinking over the next decade or so. Best of all, Grassi's 2012 is a terrific value in artisan, hand-made Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. (AG)" (12/2014)

Bid on this bottle of 1970 Charles Krug "Vintage Selection" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. An absolutely superb example of mature California Cabernet Sauvignon. Not everyone is aware that Charles Krug was one of a handful of "First Growth" wineries in the 1950s and '60s, producing some of the best red wine in California's history. Founded in 1861, the Charles Krug Winery was the first in Napa Valley, sold to Cesare and Rosa Mondavi in 1943. When Cesare died in 1959, their sons took the helm, Robert as General Manager and Peter as Vice President. In 1966, Peter took over the role as President and Robert moved on to start his own winery in Oakville.

Plums, mocha, espresso and spices all jump from the glass in this sexy, voluptuous wine. Round, sweet and inviting, the 2008 Entre Deux Meres captures the best qualities of the year. Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2013 Forman "Château La Grande Roche" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (90JG). John Gilman: "The Château la Grande Roche Cabernet Sauvignon is made by Ric Forman and the 2013 comes in at an octane level of 14.5% and offers up a complex and youthful nose of black cherries, tobacco leaf, lovely soil tones, smoke and cedar. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied and still quite tightly-knit, with a good core, fine soil signature, firm tannins and a long, still very primary finish. This has all of the parts in place to really be a lovely wine, but it needs time in the cellar to blossom! " (09/2015)

Bid on this bottle of 1994 Turley "Aida" Napa Valley Petite Syrah ((95-98RP)). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Once again, readers should recognize that the best chance for obtaining a few bottles of these black beauties is to get their names on the winery's mailing list. The 1994s are even more concentrated and impressive than the 1993s. Moreover, the 1995s (produced from even smaller crop yields than normal) also exhibit awesome potential. There is no doubt about it - as a fan of the underrated Petite Syrah, I have never tasted greater Petite Syrahs than the 1994 Aida or 1994 Hayne. Some of the extraordinary Petite Syrah produced by La Jota from the old Park-Muscatine Vineyard on Howell Mountain, and the now-discontinued Ridge Petite Syrahs from the Devil's Hill portion of York Creek Vineyard were previous benchmarks, but Turley Cellars' Petite Syrahs have set a new reference point for this varietal. The thick, opaque, black-colored 1994 Petite Syrah Aida Vineyard possesses 14.1% alc
