Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 1995 Barbaresco displays an amber edge to its evolved garnet/ruby color, as well as aromas of cedar, spice, weedy tobacco, dried herbs, and cherry fruit. The 2005 displays blue fruits, a hint of bay leaf, terrific aromatics, and an elegant, medium to full-bodied mouthfeel. It undeniably comes across as a classic, complex Napa version of a St.-Emilion. This wine needs several years of bottle age and should drink well for 20+ years. (RP)" (12/2008)
Starting Bid: $100.00

Bid on this bottle of 2008 Cayuse "Cailloux Vineyard" Walla Walla Valley Syrah (97RP, 97WE, 95JD, 95WS, 94ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A vintage that saw rain in late September, the 2008 Syrah Cailloux Vineyard is a co-fermented blend of 90+% Syrah and the balance Viognier, that wasn’t harvested until October 10. Hitting 14.1% natural alcohol, it’s drinking beautifully today and offers a meaty, iodine, peppery and plum-pit bouquet to go with a full-bodied, refined and elegant feel on the palate. It shows more and more floral and rose petal qualities with time in the glass, has plenty of mid-palate depth and will have no issues evolving for another decade. (JD)" (06/2015)

Bid on this bottle of 2010 Rhys "Swan Terrace" Santa Cruz Mountains Pinot Noir (95RP, 95ST, 91BH). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2010 Pinot Noir Swan Terrace is impeccable. Dark black cherries, plums, exotic spices and orange peel are some of the many notes that take shape in this deeply expressive, layered Pinot. The Swan Terrace is differentiated from some of the other wines in the lineup for its distinctly dark red/black tonalities. (AG)" (08/2012)

Starting Bid: $77.00

Bid on this bottle of 1990 Conti Costanti Brunello di Montalcino (93WS). Wine Spectator: "Best wine ever made by Costanti. It's bursting at the seams with fresh fruit. Layers of violet, rose petal and red berry are balanced by lovely oak. Could age a bit more, but tempting now. " (10/1995)

Bid on this bottle of 1996 Faiveley Mazis-Chambertin Grand Cru ((90-93ST)). Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Deep ruby color. High-pitched, youthfully unevolved aromas of black cherry, dark berries and spice. Sweet and thick, even voluptuous, in the mouth; gives an impression of lower acidity yet this is still quite backward. Tannins are ripe and sweet. A terrific early showing for this wine, and remarkably lush for the vintage." (04/1998)
Starting Bid: $90.00

Deep garnet colored, it offers up maturing notes of crème de cassis, baked cherries, dried mulberries and sandalwood with touches of dried herbs and tilled soil. The palate is medium to full-bodied, firm and chewy with bags of spicy black fruit and a long savory finish. 407 cases were made. (LPB)" (02/2019)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2015 Shafer "TD-9" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (94WE, 93VN, 92WS, 91JD, 91JS, 90RP). Wine Enthusiast: "This is a new offering from the producer, sparked by winemaker Elias Fernandez’s desire to make a Merlot-based blend, rather than a varietal Merlot. It is an estate-grown blend of 56% Merlot, 28% Cabernet Sauvignon and 16% Malbec. Rich and concentrated, it’s delightfully robust and vibrant, offering a mix of blackberry, blueberry and caramel chocolate flavors that finish in soft, integrated oak. *Editors’ Choice* (VB)" (03/2018)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2010 Rhys "Horseshoe Vineyard" Santa Cruz Mountains Syrah (94JD, 94ST, 94VN, 92JG). Vinous: "The 2010 Syrah Horseshoe Vineyard was made from fruit harvested in November, not unusual in this cool, drawn-out growing season. Blackberry jam, cloves, menthol and licorice flesh out in a textured, deeply expressive wine endowed with tons of pure class. The 2010 was made with 100% whole clusters. Malolactic fermentation took place in tank and the wine was subsequently aged in neutral oak barrels. This is a fabulous effort in a very challenging vintage. (AG)" (07/2013)

With considerable intensity, a multidimensional mouthfeel as well as a dense, long finish, this is one of Larry Turley’s top 2009 Zinfandels. (RP)" (12/2010)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2005 d'Armailhac, Pauillac (92DC, 92W&S, 90RP, 90WE, 90WS). Decanter: "This is almost the perfect time to drink this wine, although it still needs decanting to bring out the plush strokes of fruit. Aromatically, it majors on cassis, liquorice, cedar and patisserie. This is a lovely wine, a classic Pauillac that is not overly intense and retains a sense of juiciness. Of the three Pauillac estates tasted here, this 2005 is the one to open today. (JA)"

Starting Bid: $100.00

With impressive purity, medium body, moderate tannin, and a long finish (40 plus seconds), it will be at its finest between 2008-2018. (RP)" (04/2005)

Bid on this bottle of 2001 Castello dei Rampolla "Vigna d'Alceo" Toscana (97VN, 95RP, 93WS). Vinous: "At twelve years of age, the 2001 Vigna d'Alceo remains a behemoth. Even with all of its power, the 2001 is also incredibly elegant, refined and polished. The flavors and textures still haven't fully filled out, as is the case with the vintages of the 1990s, so readers will have to be patient. Still, all of the elements are in place for the 2001 to be an even more spectacular wine than it already it is in another few years. The 2001 isn't quite as structured as the 1999, but it is a touch more refined and floral. (AG)" (12/2013)

Maverick grower Al Brounstein first established Diamond Creek on the secluded Diamond Mountain in 1968. Often rustic, tight and tannic in youth, these wines round out with age; many vintages have required decades to come together.

Bid on this bottle of 1991 Dalla Valle Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (94RP, 90WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 1991 Cabernet Sauvignon (88% Cabernet Sauvignon and the rest Cabernet Franc and Merlot) is an opaque, deeply saturated, purple-colored wine with a super sweet, pure nose of black-cherries, cassis, minerals, and vanilla. The wine possesses exceptional richness, full body, ripe tannin, and a blockbuster finish. Approachable now, it promises to evolve for two decades. Dalla Valle has propelled itself into the top echelon of California Cabernet Sauvignon and proprietary red wines. The owners, Gustave and Naoko Dalla Valle, are admirably supported by winemaker Heidi Barrett (the wife of winemaker/proprietor Bo Barrett of Chateau Montelena). This team is producing awesomely concentrated wines from their 25-acre hillside vineyard overlooking the Napa Valley floor. There is no secret to their success. The wines are made from fully ripened fruit, and are neither excessively pr

Bid on this bottle of 2006 Domaine Jacques Prieur Clos Vougeot Grand Cru ((90-93BH), 92ST, 92WS). Allen Meadows - Burghound: "A completely different aromatic profile is presented as here the nose is much more earth dominated with a mix of red, black and violet notes that sit atop rich, full and notably serious medium full flavors that offer excellent volume and here too a bit of wood surfaces on the youthfully austere finish. The mouth feel is quite firm yet the tannins are relatively fine. Excellent quality." (04/2008)

Of the 2012 K Vintners "The Creator" Walla Walla Valley Cabernet Sauvignon-Syrah,Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "Leading off the Bordeaux blends, the 2012 The Creator (mostly Cabernet Sauvignon, yet with 30% Syrah) exhibits lots of tobacco leaf, damp herbs and wet stone-like notes to go with a core of cassis, graphite and lead pencil. Coming 58% from the River Rock Vineyard and 42% from Jack's Vineyard (both of which are in Walla Walla) … As usual, this was a massive lineup by Washington's wild man, Charles Smith. Daniel Cuvee is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from two sources, 73% from the Dutch Henry Canyon area in Calistoga and 27% from Vine Hill Ranch in Oakville. This wine spent 19 months in three-fourths new French oak. A sensational effort, it reveals copious notes of lead pencil shavings, blackberries, mulberries, black currants, licorice and charcoal. This beautifully crafted, full-bodied Cabernet possesses impressive delineation and a long finish with moderate tannin as well as decent acidity for vibrancy. Of the 2005 Lancaster Estate Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon,Wine Enthusiast writes: " A massive wine that absolutely demands time in the cellar, Lancaster’s ’05 is nearly all Cabernet, with tiny amounts of the other four Bordeaux varieties. It stuns with the power and authenticity of its hilly Cabernet origins, offering vast black currant, orange rind, anise and smoky oak flavors that implode on the palate. But the tannins are hard. It should blossom and fully come into its own after 2010. *Cellar Selection*" (10/2008)

The powerful nose of ripe apple, pear nectar, clover honey and sweet spices also hints at truffle. Dense, pure ripe pear and strawberry flavors are supported by the outstanding acid/sugar balance. Exotic, beguiling and beautifully layered, the 2011 boasts stunning depth, yet weightless elegance and tons of pure personality. The racy, explosive finish is a marvel to behold. An utterly dazzling Pinot, the 2011 should drink well for years. It is one of the few California Pinots I would bet on to age gracefully for more than a decade. This dazzling Pinot Noir has pedigree and structure to burn. In a word: superb! Home was the first parcel to ripen in 2011, and as such, the team felt
