2017 Golan Heights Winery "Hermon" Proprietary White Galilee (Kosher for Passover)

Mark Squires writes: "Golan Heights is in most respects the father of the modern Israeli wine industry, the winery that insisted that Israel could compete on quality. They’ve made some of the best Israeli wines I’ve had, but they have a very diversified portfolio which covers various quality levels and price ranges."

2014 Galil Mountain "Ela" Upper Galilee Israel (Kosher for Passover)

90 points Wine Enthusiast: "Aromas of black plum and mocha prepare the palate for flavors of blackberry, cassis, pomegranate and thyme. Offering ample mouthfeel and full-fruit flavors amidst slightly grippy tannins, this wine wraps up in a lasting cherry finish. (MD)" (12/2017) Wine & Spirits: "A blend of Barbera and Syrah, this is juicy and plummy, with a salted-caramel sweetness. It’s a simple, welcoming red for charred beef kabobs." (08/2018)

2016 Tzora Vineyards "Judean Hills" Red (Kosher for Passover)

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2016 Judean Hills is an equal blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah, with 20% Petit Verdot, all aged for 12 months in 30% new French oak. It comes in at 14.5% alcohol. This is a fine performance at the more basic end of the lineup. The limitation is obvious, so let's get that out of the way first--it shows very modest structure and has a "drink me now; I'm as ready as I'm going to be" feel to it, despite its very young age. Then, better things happen. It fills the mouth nicely and finishes with ripe and nuanced fruit. ...

2017 Tzora "Judean Hills" Blanc (Kosher for Passover)

90 points Wine Spectator: "A fresh, floral-tinged white, with a creamy undertone enhancing the citrus, apple puree and honeydew flavors. Hints of honeysuckle and baking spice detail the clean finish. Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc. Drink now through 2020. (GS)" (11/2018) Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2017 Judean Hills Blanc is a Chardonnay with 25% Sauvignon Blanc aged for eight months in a 70/30 mixture of French oak (20% new) and stainless steel. It comes in at 13.5% alcohol. The wood shows a little more here than on the 2016—understandable giv ...
