89 points Robert Parker: "A classic vintage for Suduiraut, this rich, full-bodied, expansive, viscous, fully mature wine has a wonderful honeyed, almond, caramel-scented bouquet, rich, sweet, deep, succulent flavors, full body, and a muscular, aggressive finish. The 1967 is perhaps not a match for the 1959 or 1976, but it is certainly the best wine produced at this chateau between these two vintages..." (Bordeaux Book, 3rd Edition)
Price: $199.99

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Always one of the best examples of the 1967 vintage, Magdelaine has begun to fade, but still offers an interesting chocolaty, cedary, minty bouquet and soft, rich, surprisingly deep flavors... (RP)" (12/1997)
Price: $229.99

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 1967 Francesco Rinaldi & Figli Barolo (94JG). John Gilman: "1967 is one of my absolute favorite vintages in the Langhe for current consumption and the ’67 Francesco Rinaldi e Figli Barolo is a stunning example of this very underrated year. The celestial nose offers up a complex and classy mélange of black cherries, licorice, pungent roses, road tar, spit-roasted gamebirds, complex soil tones and a topnote of bonfires. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied and absolutely à point, with a great core of pure fruit, melting tannins, bright acids and simply stunning length and grip on the focused and impeccably balanced finish. Just a great bottle of fully mature Barolo at its zenith! (Drink between 2010-2040)" (07/2010)
Starting Bid: $375.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1967 Gaja Barbaresco (92VN). Vinous: "Gaja's 1967 Barbaresco was denser in texture, with surprising depth and richness, if not the complexity or freshness of the Giacosa. It too was a superb example and an absolutely delicious wine. The Gaja winery was already well-known to discerning consumers forty years ago, and with very good reason, as this and other bottles have amply proven. (AG)" (12/2008)
Starting Bid: $600.00
