Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2002 Kilikanoon "Oracle" Shiraz Clare Valley South Australia (97RP, 96JH, 90ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2002 Shiraz Oracle, which I reviewed last year, has gotten even better with an additional year of bottle age. From the Clare Valley (a slightly cooler climate region), it spent 24 months in 100% French oak (50% new), and was bottled unfined and unfiltered. Its inky/purple color is accompanied by sumptuous aromas of graphite, blueberries, blackberries, cassis, and subtle oak. There is great fruit on the attack, full body, wonderful elegance, precision, and purity, tremendous length and persistence, sweet tannin, and good acidity that provides definition to this majestic wine’s amply endowed components. Give it another 2-3 years of bottle age, and drink it over the following two decades. (RP)" (10/2005)
Starting Bid: $80.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2004 Shirvington Shiraz McLaren Vale South Australia (95RP, 90ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The sensational 2004 Shiraz’s inky/purple color is followed by aromas of graphite, blueberries, and creme de cassis. It offers wonderful purity, plenty of stuffing, toasty espresso notes from new oak barrels, admirable intensity, and a tremendous finish. Drink it over the next decade. Former winemakers Sarah and Sparky Marquis have left Shirvington and the wine is now being made by Kim Johnston. Little has changed, although the 2004s appear to be more streamlined and delicate than their 2003 and 2002 counterparts." (10/2005)
Starting Bid: $240.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2001 Torbreck "Woodcutter's Red" Barossa Valley South Australia. Robert Parker has touted David Powell as one of the great winemakers of the world, and if you have been lucky enough to have had the famed Run Rig, Factor or Descendant, you know how profound they can be. The "Woodcutter's" line represents great value from the Torbreck portfolio. The red is 90% syrah with the balance made up of grenache and cabernet sauvignon coming from vineyards up to 60 years old. Deep ripe notes of raspberry and red licorice blend with elements of meats and earth, all perfectly balanced with a supple mouth feel.
Starting Bid: $40.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2014 Hickinbotham "The Revivalist" Merlot McLaren Vale South Australia (92RP, 92WS, 91JS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2014 The Revivalist Merlot shows a deep garnet-purple color, and has a lovely floral and spice-laced nose with hints of baking spices, vanilla and plum preserves. Full-bodied, rich and concentrated, this Merlot has nice velvety tannins, a lively backbone and great length. (LPB) 92+" (06/2016)
